Digital Artisans are craftsmen and artists who appreciate and feel the need for physical and functional artefacts despite the advancing digitization. The yearning for haptic exploration and sensation cannot be completely replaced by digital applications. As a human being with the given sense of touch and the capacity for abstraction, is the use of specific gestures or tools that in their simplicity represents a meaningful enrichment and a necessary interface between designer and interface.
