Carmina Blank | Gestaltwandel

The work „Gestaltwandel“ explores the interaction between material and light. With the help of optical properties, such as reflection, changing visual information should be displayed on a display-like surface. By using lenticular lenses and generating interferences, colors and moving images are created. These can later be designed and controlled by adjusting the properties of the surface. The final patterns are applied to the human body in order to utilize its movement to start the transformation of the images.
