Mohammad Moradi | AVA – Enriching the conversational human-computer interaction

Ava is a smart assistant with body language. It is an experiment to explore whether adding nonverbal communication to a conversational-UI would improve the way we interact with technology. Ava offers a more nuanced take on our relationship with digital life. It grows with its user and adapts its behavior to the environment. It uses motion to express itself alongside the auditory feedback. Its motions are based on the Disney‘s Twelve Basic Principles of Animation to create an illusion of a living entity.
