Simon von Schmude | Vokabular und Grammatik interaktiver Schwärme
Simon von Schmude, Bachelor Thesis 2018
How does a swarm perceive? How does it communicate with its environment and how does this communication evolve through the interaction with conspecific and users alike? This project wants to uncover the qualities of swarms from a designer‘s standpoint by developing speech models that allow interactive swarms to be readable and unbiased, thus maximizing their potential. Utilizing the gained knowledge, a swarm consisting of light searching cones that communicate through the direct interaction with light was developed and build.
