Jonas Schneider & Valentin Lindau | Sweep 2.0
Jonas Schneider, Valentin Lindau, Master Thesis 2017
By means of autonomisation products are developing a life of their own: they are making their own decisions and moving within our surroundings independently. How will they communicate their intentions and how will we be able to influence their behaviour was examined within project Sweep 2.0. Through interactive prototypes principles for collaborating with cobots were established and then demonstrated by designing the semi- autonomous cleaning system Sweep. The central concept is to create a lifelike behaviour for an inanimate machine, thus to support an intuitive collaboration experience for its human co-worker and clear communication signals for passers-by as well.
