Yi-Ting Chen | Hacko

The project “Hacko” derives its name from “hackable objects“. Inspired by the design hackings in our daily life, this project aims to create an infrastructure that enables users to become co-designers and to create the product they need. Hacko a set of modularized electronic objects. Each disc-shaped object has its specific function, e.g. “Click Object” works like a push-button and “Hearing Object” captures audio. Composing them on the tablet, users could create functional projects according to their own purpose. The openness and modularity of Hacko make it ultimately changeable, upgradeable and reusable.
