Quazoo is a digital educational toy specifically designed for children learning German as their second language. Quazoo is suited to teach and train German writing skills as well as the basics of logic. It consists of cubic animal modules which can be addressed through a tablet. By writing letters, words and full sentences children can control the actions of these modules. The metaphor „from zoo to circus“ allows to raise the level of complexity organically for children between the age of five and eight. Thus this toy helps to improve orthographical as well as grammatical skills and fosters the understanding of logical structures.
