Judith Glaser | Facet

Judith Glaser, Master Thesis 2017

We communicate and consume digitally. Every digital activity produces ‹invisible› traces of meta data. Global players collect and analyze these data. Facet however enables users to access and analyse their own meta data too. The aim is to foster understanding of when and how qualitative personal information is being captured. Moreover the interface provides the means to create and use databased but customized ‹facets›. Beyond the quantified self it allows to curate the public visibility of these data thus allowing for more personal control over a users own private or business “face”.
