Sarah Leicher | Beyond Visual Interaction
Sarah Leicher, Bachelorthesis 2024
Beyond Visual Interaction is a series of prototypes offering an alternative to touchscreen interactions, built on the human need to explore with our hands. Modern technology often relies heavily on visual elements, overlooking the possibilities of human perception. This project explores the potential of haptic user experiences, aiming to redesign feedback in human-machine interaction. It focuses on creating intuitive interfaces without using mechanical elements. Central to this series are vibration patterns combined with the affordance of forms, following the “High Touch-High Tech” concept.
